取材自明代神魔小說：「封神演義」，是專為青少年創作的演出節目。
以戲曲卓越的功夫表現哪吒腳蹬風火輪，手舞混天綾，火尖槍、乾坤圈大戰妖魔、鬧海擒龍王為民除害的故事。
哪吒是托塔天王李靖之子，是太乙真人的徒弟，自蓮花脫胎而生。劇中，他抬頭挺胸指向天上玉皇大帝，說：「一人做事一人當！」和很多青少年一樣，易衝動、好強、叛逆、闖禍、挑戰權威……但是，也是純真、聰明、勇敢、好打不平，具正義感的孩子。
「哪吒 —— 少年風火輪」是一篇高潮迭起，令人目不轉睛的青春寓言：哪吒是少年成長尋找自我價值的潛意識，從逆子演化成世人崇拜的兒童神，具心靈深度和哲學意涵，全劇完整演繹他從出生到重生，最終以愛化解矛盾衝突的奇幻旅程。

With dazzling martial arts, Nezha rides on flaming wheels, wielding the Cosmic Ribbon, Fire-Tipped Spear, and Heaven-Earth Ring, as he battles demons, storms the sea to capture the Dragon King, and vanquishes evil to protect the people.
Nezha, the son of Li Jing, known as Pagoda-Bearing heavenly King, and the disciple of Taiyi Zhenren. Born from a lotus flower, he stands tall and declares defiantly to the Jade Emperor, "I take full responsibility for my actions!" Like many youths, he is impulsive, strong-willed, rebellious, causing trouble and challenging authority. Yet, he is also pure-hearted, clever, brave, and fiercely righteous.
Nezha: The Boy on Fiery Wheels is a gripping coming-of-age fable that follows the title character’s journey from a defiant outcast to a revered child deity, exploring deep psychological and philosophical themes. The play depicts his fantastical transformation—from birth, through death, to rebirth—culminating in his use of love to resolve conflicts.
